House rules are rules made by the players and DM to make the game easier for them, or more to their liking.
Ammo inventory. Counting how many arrows you have can be very tedious. Not only that, but some powers use different amounts of arrows. And after combat, some archers will try and salvage whatever arrows they can find. Now we have to determine how many can be salvaged. And for that, we have to still count how many arrows were shot to begin with.
No. I’m not going to do it. I’m not going to expect others to do it either.
So, doing research, I found something I liked. A dice roll tracking system.
The way it works. Instead of writing down how many arrows you have, you write down a dice instead. There is a d4, d6, d8, d10 or d12. A full quiver of arrows would be a d12. After combat, you roll that die, and check the inventory chart. It will tell you your new die of inventory.
